Jonathan R. Aubin, Esq.

Associate

Attorney Aubin earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut and his juris doctorate from Quinnipiac University School of Law (QUSL), magna cum laude.  He served as Publication Editor of the Quinnipiac Law Review and was heavily involved with QUSL’s Society for Dispute Resolution through which he was a back-to-back finalist in the National Sports Law Negotiation Competition in San Diego, California.

Prior to his legal career, Attorney Aubin worked as a high school English teacher for New Haven Public Schools and wrote feature articles and reviews for an internationally distributed arts and culture magazine. During his teaching career, Attorney Aubin started a course in film studies, screenwriting and production, published two units of study as a fellow with the Yale-New Haven Teachers Institute, and served as head coach of the men’s tennis team.

 

A lifelong Connecticut resident, Attorney Aubin was raised in Canterbury and Colchester, is an alumnus of Norwich Free Academy, and currently resides in Avon, where he enjoys hiking, cycling, and kayaking with his family.

Attorney Aubin’s practice focuses on family law, education, employment, commercial and residential real estate, property, land use, personal injury, and criminal law. He has trial experience in the fields of family law, property, contracts, housing, and probate litigation. He is admitted to practice in Connecticut, New York, federal district court for the District of Connecticut, and the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Disputes Court.
